The Beauty Tribe

The Beauty Tribe (TBT) is a personal care social network. Users are encouraged to share the products they use and give comments on these products. The goal of the platform is to allow users to exchange their experiences and help each other in making purchase decisions. TBT also suggest to its users what products are suitable based on what other users with same skin and hair types are using.

How does TBT help users?

1. Users first sign up to TBT with their existing Facebook accounts.

2. Then they add into their “beauty boxes” the products they use or have used along with ratings and reviews of these products.

3. Users’ friends and other TBT users can rate these beauty boxes.

4. Users can see what are the most popular beauty boxes, products and what products are suitable for them.

5. TBT finds users discount vouchers for the products that are suitable for them hence helping them save on their cosmetics shopping.
